Group of friends decided to take a last hooray of the past summer to Yellowstone to relax, swim in the river, and a little camping.
Firehole River where we went swiming every eveining
The Swimming hole, oh so relaxing and fun!!
The hike we wanted to do was canceled due to grizzles on the trail, a mother and her cubs. We enjoyed being in the somewhat wild, just wish the traffic was not so bad, when ever wild life was around. Some people will never learn that you do not get out of your cars and chase wild animals. We saw on person with there young children chasing a cub through the woods, not the brightest idea, and in another area we saw people chasing wild buffalo around mud pits and hot springs. have people ever watched when animals attack, or do they think the signs warning people of possible attacks, and to stay away from the animals. Don't call me when you get hurt, and don't ask for the animal that mauled you to be executed. It was your own fault for not heading the warnings. Above is a buffalo that was in the woods. People were getting out there vehicles to chase this magnificent animal.
Other than the stupidity of some people, the trip was great, several good hikes ar
ound the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone,
More of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.

Mike and Adam posing in front of the canyon. Such great views and nice trees.
seeing Old Faithful,
We latter hiked down to the Yellowstone River and wishing we had fishing equipment as we watched some anglers fly fishing in the rapids, and it just looked so relaxing. After the river we headed over to Mammoth Hot Springs. More of Mammoth Hot Springs.
Mike standing next to a hot spring, just for fun, hope the side doesn't cave in.
Adam and Mike sitting infront of one of the several geysers along a small hike we went on.
A nice azure colored hot springs, some one asked if it would be safe to sit in, well if you want to I just don't want to see the aftermath.
We also went to several other small gysers and hot springs, This was a nice geyser.
Such a great trip.
